Adventure: For the dedicated Off-Road driver that wants a challenge. The trail runs into the valley of the Umhlatuze River and offers a variety of driving conditions from sand to rock ledges, boulder beds, soft sand river crossings, steep banks and mud. Vehicles must carry a stock of tools, spares and recovery equipment. The Bulls Run gives unequalled opportunities of seeing traditional Zulu life.

Day 1: Leave the George Hotel by 09:30 do first part of the Bulls Run: rock legdes, hills bush and traditional Zulu life. Lunch on the shore of the Goedertrouw Dam. Complete first part of trail by 16:00 and then return back to the George Hotel.

Day 2: Leave George Hotel a little earlier, 08:30 - 09:00. Return to the valley. The trail winds up the Umhlatuze river, crossing the river a number of times, and then goes up the Mvusane River. A day of sand and water. The trail finishes by mid-day or early afternoon to give participants time to pack and get home. This trail can be extended to give a full day's driving.

If you wish, the Bulls Run can be done as a one day trail, with a section of the rock and bush trail deleted.

Trail rating 3-5. Depends on weather and river conditions.

This is a guided trail only. Cost R150.00 per vehicle per day, minimum of 4 vehicles. R250.00 per vehicle for a two day weekend. Includes trail fee.
